I have been meeting some amazing women in the wedding industry lately and I think it's about time to showcase some of them! First and foremost, my girl Susan of Susan's Floral Design.
Susan is based in Anaheim Hills and has converted part of her home into her floral shop. She even has a walk-in floral cooler! What stood out to me the most about Susan when I first met her is how genuine and kind she is. Then I took a look at her work and oh my goodness is she amazing at what she does! The combo of her sweet personality and excellence in her craft makes her the perfect go to florist for your wedding needs.
I asked Susan what the top floral trends are for 2017 and here's what she had to say:
We had good run with rustic looks for weddings, but let's move on and do romantic old English looks. My prediction for 2017 and 2018 is that weddings will be more colorful. Lot's of different shades of pink or purple, which will really brighten up any venue and make for great pictures.
If you are not really into colors, classic off white and lots green is also nice and great in photos. But when you do white and green make sure you pick nice blooms and greens, like white with black center anemones, peonies or garden roses. These big blooms will cover more space. When it comes to green use jasmine vine or any kinda vine with blooms.
I feel that in the next few years we will see lots of antique Fenton vases, cup and dishes for accent instead of Mercury gold or silver like we have been seeing for last 5 years. Fenton has a wonderful collection of colors to compliment any color pallet of weddings. Using deep green big foliage for your centerpieces will also look great.
